Sait-Salam Gutseriev was born in Moscow, Russia, Russia. Sait-Salam Gutseriev is a shareholder in BIN Group, an industrial and financial conglomerate led by his older brother, Mikhail. In 2016 BIN Group was renamed Safmar Group, after their brother's parents Safarbek and Marem. He runs most of the group's real estate development projects in Moscow. The company also manages two hotels: the famous National, across from the Kremlin, and the Sheraton Palace Moscow Hotel, which Safmar acquired in December 2015. Gutseriev was a deputy in the Russian Duma from 1999 to 2008.
