Ronnie Wood was bornon 1 June 1947 in Hillingdon, Middlesex, England, British, is Musician & Songwriter. Ronnie Wood is an English musician, guitarist, bassist, songwriter and artist. He has performed with many English bands and is best known for his association with ‘Faces’ and ‘Rolling Stones’. He started his career as a guitarist with rhythm and blues band, ‘The Birds’. Afterwards he joined ‘Jeff Beck Group’ as a bassist and when the group split, he joined a new group called ‘Faces’ that eventually gained popularity in many European countries including the UK. While ‘Faces’ was at the verge of a split, Wood began to work on solo projects. Later in 1975, he joined the ‘Rolling Stones’ accepting invitation of his long time friend Keith Richards, one of the prominent members of the band. Wood remains a member of the band till present day. Some of the notable albums of the band since his induction are ‘Emotional Rescue’, ‘Tattoo You’, ‘Bridges To Babylon’ and ‘A Bigger Bang’. He has released many solo albums such as ‘I've Got My Own Album to Do’, ‘Gimme Some Neck’ and ‘I Feel Like Playing’. He is also a gifted painter and has held several art exhibitions across the US apart from other countries. He was twice inducted into the ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’, first in 1989 as a member of the ‘Rolling Stones’ and then in 2012 as a member of the ‘Faces’ band.
