Rick Santorum was bornon 10 May 1958 in Winchester, Virginia, U.S., American, is American Politician, Attorney. Richard John Santorum is an American attorney, activist and Republican Party politician. He ran for political office at a young age for the first time for the House of Representatives from the 18th congressional district, Pennsylvania. A lifelong Republican and considered a rising star within the Republican Party, he later rose to prominence as a United States Congressman and senator from the state of Pennsylvania. He was a candidate for the Republican Party presidential nomination in 2012 and 2016. He was considered to be a popular candidate among conservative voters before ending his campaigns in both occasions. After his departure from the Senate, he has worked as consultant, news contributor and attorney. Later he also became a CNN political commentator. He also endorsed Donald Trump for president after ending his political campaign in 2016. He is a devout Catholic and a social conservative who opposed same-sex marriages and artificial birth control during his active political years. A skilled and spirited politician, he became famous for his blunt and aggressive style in Congress described as “confrontational, partisan, ‘in your face’ style of politics and government”.
