Reinfried Pohl and his brother Andreas inherited a financial-services empire from their father, Reinfried Pohl Sr., who died in June 2014. Pohl founded Deutsche Vermoegensberatung AG (DVAG) in 1975 and built it into the leading company in Germany offering mutual funds, consumer insurance and annuities, as well as other savings and financing solutions.
