Mick Taylor was bornon 17 January 1949 in Welwyn Garden City, England, British, is Musician. Michael Kevin Taylor more popular as Mick Taylor, is an English musician, singer, songwriter and guitarist. He remained a member of the famous and ageless English rock band, the ‘Rolling Stones’ from 1969 to 1974 and was part of some of the remarkable classic albums of the band including ‘Let It Bleed’, ‘Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out!’, ‘Sticky Fingers’, ‘Exile on Main St.’ and ‘It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll’. Again from 2012 he took part in many shows of the band like the ‘Reunion shows’, the ‘50 & Counting’ concert tour and the ’14 On Fire’ concerts. Prior to his association with the ‘Rolling Stones’, he was a member of another English blues rock band ‘John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers’ from 1966 to 1969. Some of his noted albums with the band are ‘Back To The Roots’, ‘Crusade’, ‘Blues From Laurel Canyon’ and ‘Bare Wires’. Post ‘Rolling Stones’ he has released many solo albums in collaboration with other artists. These include ‘Infidels’, ‘Empire Burlesque’ and ‘Real Live’ with Bob Dylan; ‘Too Hot For Snakes’, ‘Within An Ace’ and ‘The Ring Of Truth’ with Carla Olson and ‘Pay Pack & Follow’ with John Phillips among many other. In 1989 he was enlisted in the ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’ along with the ‘Rolling Stones’. In 2011 the biweekly magazine, ‘Rolling Stone’ ranked him at the 37th position in its list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
