Jeffrey Skoll was bornon 16 January 1965 in Palo Alto, California, United States. Jeffrey Skoll is #424 in List Billionaires People In The World. Jeff Skoll built his fortune as eBay's first full-time hire and president in 1995; he left eBay in 2001, three years after its IPO. Skoll divides his time between his Skoll Foundation, which funds social entrepreneurs, and film production firm Participant Media. The Skoll Foundation and Skoll Global Threats Fund have distributed about $600 million worldwide, aiming to reduce poverty, among other goals. In March 2016 his Participant Media won its first best picture Academy Award for the film "Spotlight." Skoll founded millenial-focused cable TV channel Pivot TV in 2013 but shut it down in late 2016.
