Dudley Moore was bornon 19 April 1935 in Hammersmith, British. A child prodigy, Dudley Moore earned a music scholarship and began his career in theatre, while still at University. Moore was one of those exceptional, multi-talented entertainers, who amazed his fans with his ability to act and sing. He also excelled as a comedian and became a proficient musician and piano player. This Golden Globe winning actor was recognized as one of the most gifted and widely acclaimed comedians, known for his comic performances with his longtime partner, Peter Cook. Some of his best known films include, ‘Arthur’ and the hit film, ‘10’. He began his acting career with the British stage comedy, ‘Beyond the Fringe’, which became a hit on New York’s Broadway. In a career spanning over 30 years, Moore has received two Golden Globes, an Academy Award nomination and has received a Grammy as well. He was also a part of the legendary British TV series, ‘Not Only... But Also’.
