One of the early exponents of the dotcom revolution, and a major towering figure in the Silicon Valley scenario till his untimely death, Dave Goldberg was a man who loved to wear many hats. From selling his first start-up in a multi-million dollar deal at the young age of 26 to funding some of the more successful start-ups later himself, he had done it all. However, more than anything, it is his helpful and jovial nature that would be missed the most by people who had the good fortune of getting in touch with him. Dave was an entrepreneur in the true sense of the word. His brilliance and ingenuity ensured that whatever project he was associated with became a raging success. His successful marriage to Sheryl Sandberg, the COO of Facebook was the talk of the town. His tragic and most untimely death has left a sense of void even in the cutthroat world of the Silicon Valley.
